Min Long

Min Long received the Ph.D. degree from Cornell University, in 2008. He is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Science, Boise State University, Boise, ID, USA. He has extensive experience in scientific computing, numerical methods, data structures and algorithms, data analytics, and high-performance computing. He is a DOE Visiting Faculty with host scientists across multiple projects at Idaho National Laboratory, Idaho Falls, ID, USA. He later worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in computational science with the University of Illinois, Champaign, IL, USA, and The University of Chicago, Chicago, IL, USA, before joining Boise State University. His primary interest is in application of computer science and computational science to fundamental sciences, such as physics and materials science.
