Bio
Min-Cheol Oh received the B.S. degree from the Department of Communication Engineering, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, South Korea, in 1990, 1992, and 1996, respectively. From 1996 to 1999, he was a Senior Research Engineer with the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), Daejeon, where he invented various novel polymeric waveguide devices. In 1999, he joined the Department of Electro-Physics, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA, USA, as a Research Associate to continue the polymer device research. From 2000 to 2002, he experienced two start-up companies, Pacific Wave Industries, USA, and Zenphotonics, South Korea. Since 2003, he joined the Department of Electronic Engineering, Pusan National University, Busan, South Korea, and became a Full Professor in 2014. His research interests include integrated optical sensors, photonic-integrated circuits, polymeric waveguide devices, bio-photonic sensors, and organic electronic devices.
