Bio
I am striving for new physics by studying solid-state quantum materials and quantum structures, such as quantum dot molecules and atomically thin layers of van der Waals materials, by optical means and by atomic force microscopy at the single quantum structure level. In my research I am developing a comprehensive understanding of mechanical and opto-electronic interaction mechanisms affecting atom-like quantum structures, with the objective to apply those mechanisms in future quantum technologies.
