Bio
Michael Erb (michael.erb@med.uni-tuebingen.de) studied physics at the Universities of Karlsruhe and Tübingen, Germany, and graduated in 1985. He pursued his Ph.D. studies on artificial neural networks at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetic in Tübingen from 1986–1990. After a research visit at the Institute for Brain Research, University of Düsseldorf, he was a research fellow at the Institute for Neurophysics, University of Marburg, Germany. Since 1995, he has been a research fellow at the Department of Neuroradiology, University of Tübingen performing fMRI studies on several topics. He is involved in building MR compatible stimulation devices and programming MP pulse sequences and analysis software.
