Bio
Michael G. Danikas received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK, in 1980 1nd 1982 respectively and his Ph.D. from the University of London, Queen Mary College, London, UK, in 1985. He is currently Professor at Democritus University of Thrace, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. His research interests are in partial discharges in solid dielectrics, surface discharges and flashovers on insulating surfaces, transformer oil breakdown and diagnostic techniques in high-voltage insulating systems.
