Twice, young investigator award by The American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD, 1998/2002), 2. research grant from The European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL, 2009), 3. FALK germany basic science award (2011) 4. ERS (denmark) award for sarcoidosis studies (2008). *the author of liver books published in NY, USA. - member of American Association Study of Liver Diseases since 2007 and European Association Study of Liver Diseases since 2008. - served on the editorial boards and referee for "Gastroenterology", "Hepatology", and "The American Journal of Gastroenterology" (A group journals). - studied ulcerative colitis and Crohn's Disease (more than 10.000 IBD patients experience), biologics, advanced endoscopy, hepatitis, cirrhosis, HCC, fibroscan, endoscopy, endosonography, and pancreas diseases and therapeutics for 25+years. *authored more than 100 peer-reviewed research articles (in pubmed). - main research areas: Crohn's, Colitis, NASH, NAFLD, MAFLD, fatty liver/Viral Hepatitis and complications, pancreas disorders, echoendoscopy (EUS), advanced endoscopy and i-scan and fibroscan.
