Bio
I am a neuroscientist with almost ten years of experience working with several animal models of retinal injury (light damage, ischemic damage and glaucoma) using functional, biochemical and histological approaches. Currently, I am working on new therapeutic strategies to reduce levodopa induced dyskinesia in a mouse model of Parkinson's disease, that includes from gene therapy to classic pharmacology approaches. I have also a background on glia and inflammation related to neurodegenerative diseases as a result of my PhD Thesis.
