Bio
Mehrdad Shokooh-Saremi is currently a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Electricaland Computer Engineering, University of Connecticut. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran in 2006 and Ph.D. in Physics from The University of Sydney, Australia in 2007. His areas of research are design, modeling, andfabricationof the fixed and tunable optical diffractive elements based on the guided-mode resonance effect, all-opticalsignalprocessing, transparentconducting oxides, and thin-film filters. He is the author and co-author of more than 40 papers in technicaljournals and international conferences.
