个人简介
Mehmet Akçakaya (akcakaya@umn.edu) received his S.M. and Ph.D. degrees from Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, USA, in 2010. From 2010 to 2015, he was with Harvard Medical School. He is currently an associate professor at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN 55455 USA. He holds an R01, a P41 TR&D project, and a Trailblazer Award from the National Institutes of Health as well as a CAREER Award from the National Science Foundation. He is a member of the IEEE Signal Processing Society Computational Imaging Technical Committee and was a co-organizer of the Deep Learning for Biomedical Image Reconstruction Workshop at the 2020 IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging (Jong Chul Ye and Ge Wang). His research interests include image reconstruction, machine learning, magnetic resonance imaging physics, inverse problems, and signal processing. He is a Senior Member of IEEE.
