Bio
Megan M. Maurer is a Senior Scientist in Metabolism at Corteva Agriscience. She is responsible for conducting GLP nature of residue studies in plants and animals for new crop protection products.
Dr. Maurer has over 15 years' experience in government, industry, and academic labs with mass spectrometry (MS) analysis for small molecules, peptides, and proteins in variety of matrices, including animal tissue, plant tissue, soil, and water. She has used both GC and LC separation techniques prior to compound detection with mass spectrometry (MS), tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS), and high resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS). She has performed method development and routine analysis on both GC-MS and LC-MS. She also has experience with ion mobility spectrometry - mass spectrometry (IMS-MS) and hydrogen-deuterium exchange (HDX)-IMS-MS. Additionally, Dr. Maurer has experience with other analytical instrumentation including FTIR and UV-Vis spetrophotometry, ICP-MS, and Raman spectroscopy.
