个人简介
Md Hafizur Rahman completed his Masters from Georgia Southern University where he researched and synthesized bio-oil from biomass and waste plastics to use as fuels and lubricants. Minimization of the Carbon footprint is one core motivation for his research. He has a keen interest and expertise in solid Modeling, Finite Element Analysis, & building energy-efficient systems. He is currently pursuing his PhD. at Dr. Menezes' research laboratory, in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Nevada at Reno. He is working in collaboration with Dr. Martini's group at UC Merced on bio-based ionic liquids and investigating their tribological influence through experimentation, molecular dynamic simulation. The project is funded by NSF.
