Mauro Soldati is Full Professor of Physical Geography and Geomorphology at the Department of Chemical and Geological Sciences, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy), and President of the International Association of Geomorphologists (IAG) during the term 2017-2022. He carries out research in the field of mountain and coastal Geomorphology with special attention to mass movements and related hazard issues. He is also involved in research on Geoheritage.
