Bio
Mattias Lantz received his PhD degree in experimental nuclear physics at Uppsala University, Sweden, in 2005. After his PhD dissertation he joined the FLUKA team as a postoctoral researcher at the National Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN) in Milan, Italy. Thereafter he had postdoctoral positions at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden, and at RIKEN Nishina Center, in Wako, Japan, working on experiments with radioacive beams. Presently he has a research position in the Applied Nuclear Physics Group at the Departments of Physics and Astronomy at Uppsala University. The major research interests of Lantz are total reaction cross sections and development of Monte Carlo codes.
