Matthias Grobe

I have a broad interest in all physical earth processes and their manifestations through time. My specific research interests lie in the areas of carbonate and evaporite sedimentology and diagenesis (focus dolomitization), geological history and stratigraphy of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin (focus Paleozoic), carbon dioxide geological storage, and geothermal energy. I am also interested in research, methods, tools, and modern approaches to science quality assurance and effective science communication.
