Bio
Matthew J. McAuliffe received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Detroit, Detroit, MI, in 1985, and the Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, in 1998.
He has been at the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD, since 1998, and is currently the Chief of the Biomedical Image Research and Services Section. He is the original author of the MIPAV application, and actively manages the continued development of the application. His current research interests include image processing, quantification, and image fusion.
