Research Interests
Our lab uses modern chemical biology techniques to increase our understanding of the basic biology of intracellular pathogens such as Toxoplasma and Plasmodium. We use drug-like small molecules to ask questions about the interaction of these pathogenic organisms with their chosen host-cell. We do this in the belief that by increasing our understanding we will be better equipped to target and therapeutically treat infections that impact human health.
