My research focuses on the evolutionnary history of Hemiptera (cicadas, hoppers, true bugs) by integrating the fossil record to neontological data. Firstly, I try to better document the fossil record with taxonomic studies based on fossils preserved in rocks and amber. Secondly, I study the relationships within insect clades, combining neontological and palaeontological data. Thirdly, I reconstruct the patterns of diversification of several clades using the fossil record.
