个人简介
I’m an agronomist specialised in plant stress and crop production. Increased drought is probably the single most detrimental effect of climate change globally. My research aims to reduce irrigation water use, which consumes 90% of all water withdrawals worldwide. Satellite and drone imagery can spatio-temporally resolve drought stress in the field leading to better scheduling and water savings. Also, biochar can increase plant available soil water (green water) and save irrigation (blue water).
