个人简介
1. Institut de la Vision, CNRS, Inserm/Sorbonne Université, Paris, France. 2020 - present
Team of Retinal Information Processing. Principal Investigator: Dr. Olivier Marre
I study the nonlinear effects on the retinal coding with a perturbative approach. I measure the activity of mouse retinal ganglion cells using multi-electrode-arrays and complex image stimulations. I also perturb the middle layer cells using holographic optogenetic targeted cell perturbations. I study the responses of the cells with with convolutional neural networks (CNNs), to help me find retinal circuit mechanisms for complex feature computations.
2. Unité de Neurosciences Information et Complexité (UNIC). CNRS, Gif-sur-Yvette, France.
April 2015 – September 2020. Principal Investigator: Dr. Daniel Shulz
I am working in the analysis of the neural coding of the secondary somatosensory cortex of the rat (S2) in a project involving extracellular multi-unit recordings in vivo. I study neuronal activity elicited through a novel micromanipulator of the vibrissae with different stimulation protocols. I learnt multi-unit recording, rat physiology and anatomy, sensory systems physiology, complex stimulation programming and analysis methods like Spike Triggered Correlation and Spike Sorting.
3. Dynamical Systems Laboratory. Physics Department, School of Sciences, University of Buenos Aires.
October 2009- April 2015. Advisor: PhD. Gabriel B. Mindlin.
I worked in the design, construction, calibration and installation of a cooling device for the temperature control of a telencephalic nucleus in domestic canaries. I built a setup to record simultaneously breathing pressure patterns and songs, while decreasing brain temperature in a controlled manner. I developed a precise computational prediction using dynamical systems modeling of neuronal activity. I implemented a neuronal cooling protocol with simultaneous electrophysiological measurements, while developing computational models of neuronal dynamics compatible with the cooling effects at single-cell and network level. I learnt electronics, temperature sensing, microsurgery, animal use and care, model of dynamical systems, signal and sound analyses and processing and electrophysiology.
4. Systems Biology Laboratory. Institute of Physiology, Mollecular Biology and Neurosciences (IFIByNE, Conicet, School of Sciences, University of Buenos Aires). April - September 2009. Advisor: PhD. Alejandro Colman-Lerner
I worked in a project involving signaling pathways in the yeast S. cerevisiae. I learnt mollecular and cellular biology, growing and maintaining cells, fluorescence and confocal microscopy, models of signalling pathways, diffussion mechanisms, and genetic techniques.
5. Image Processing Laboratory. Department of Physics, School of Sciences, University of Buenos Aires. April 2006 – December 2008. Advisor: PhD. Silvia Ledesma
I worked in diffractive optics with the characterization of liquid crystal displays for its application to dynamical focusing and quantum algorithms simulation. I gained knowledge in signalling processing architectures and in diffractive and Fourier Optics. I performed experiments on microscopy and simulation of quantum information protocols.
