Dr. Seitl engages professionally in the work and organizational psychology. His specific fields of research are selection of employees, ethics of employee´s selection, psychodiagnostics methods in the work psychology, organizational culture and managerial psychology. He is an accredited specialist in model of organizational culture developed by G. Hofstede and B. Waisfisz and in model of organizational culture developed by R. Barrett, accredited specialist in Hogan Assessment and accredited specialist in Rorschach test and other projective methods or technics. He teaches subjects for undergraduate students, especially the recruitment and selection of employees, the managerial psychology, the organizational culture, the Rorschach test.
He is an investigator or co-investigator of several national research projects which are aimed at the development of the psychodiagnostics methods. The research results are published in the national or international journals and are presented at the conferences. Dr. Seitl published three monographs: Discovering Interpersonal Personality Characteristics (2012), Test psychological diagnostics methods for employees’ selection (2015) and Human movement determinant in the Rorschach method (2016). Besides the research project activities he is also investigator or co-investigator of several developmental projects focused on the application of the main field of psychology in practice.
Dr. Seitl is member of professional and prestigious societies at the national or international level: Czech Society for Rorschach and Projective Methods (CSRaP), International Society for Rorschach and projective Methods (ISR), European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology (EAWOP), Czech Association of Work and Organizational Psychologists (CAPPO).
