Bio
Mark Voskuijl received the M.Sc. degree in aerospace engineering from the Delft University of Technology, in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree from the Flight Science and Technology Research Group, University of Liverpool, in 2007. From 2007 to 2018, he was an Assistant Professor of flight mechanics and propulsion at the Delft University of Technology. There, he was responsible for research and education related to flight performance. Since 2018, he has been a Professor of weapon and aviation systems at the Faculty of Military Sciences, Netherlands Defence Academy. He is a specialist in the field of flight performance, and stability and control of both fixed wing aircraft and rotorcraft. He is the (co)author of more than 50 publications in this field. His interest and passion for the field of flight dynamics and control was originally sparked by work placements as a Graduate Student at the Handling Qualities Department of Boeing Helicopters and the Helicopters and Aeroacoustics Department, Netherlands Aerospace Center (NLR).
