I am a social scientist and planner specialising in integrated local governance with an academic interested in knowledge utilisation and transfer in public policy production. My expertise focuses on qualitative inquiry to offer original interpretation of complex phenomena by creatively illuminating problems for decision makers by highlighting where danger exists and vigilance is required. I have completed a PhD investigating integration between differing land use and transport policy, plan and program production processes at the University of Liverpool (Department of Civic Design), and post-doctoral positions investigating environmental risk governance at Cranfield University and knowledge implementation in healthcare at Prifysgol Bangor University.
