Bio
Mark D. Ivey (Ph.D, Electrical Engineering, University of New Mexico, 1988) is a Senior Engineer in the Geosciences Research and Applications Center at Sandia National Labs. Prior to his promotion to Senior Level, he was the manager for the DOE’s North Slope of Alaska Atmospheric Radiation Measurement Facilities in Alaska. Mark has worked in Atmospheric Sciences groups at Sandia since the mid-80’s. He currently serves on program management teams developing strategies for Sandia’s modeling and measurement capabilities. Before joining Sandia, Mark worked for technology companies in New Mexico and California, and he taught as an assistant adjunct in the electrical engineering department at Montana State University in Bozeman. He served for six years on the Board of Directors for the Arctic Research Consortium of the United States.
