Mario Kusek [M'97] is an associate professor at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing. His main research interests include distributed systems, software agents, and the Internet of Things. He has participated in scientific projects financed by Croatian Ministries, Croatian Science Foundation, EU COST actions, H2020 (EC), and others. He is Chair of the IEEE ComSoc Croatia Chapter and Conference Coordinator in the Croatia Section, and of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI).
