Full Professor “C”; PRIDE “D” (2021-2025), FES-Cuautitlan of Autonomous University of México, pre-grade studies in Biochemical Engineering with a specialty in Food (1991) National Technological Institute of Mexico (ITTepic), Master of Food Sciences (1996), IPN and Ph D. in Food Science (2013) by Autonomous University of Queretaro. Definitive Professor in teachings: Multidisciplinary Experimental Laboratory IV, Biotechnological Processes and Separation Processes Food Engineering Plan 2004. Chief of the Food Engineering Section (2002-2006), member of the Engineering and Technology Judging Commission (2015-2018), and Member of the Academic Committee of Postgraduate in Chemical Sciences (2016-2019 and 2019-2021). I have 298 papers presented at national and international conferences and 49 articles in indexed journals (24 Q1, 12 Q2 and 13 Q3), and 5 in peer-reviewed non-indexed journals (with more than 500 types A references, h-index= 12). 65 long articles, 18 in non-refereed journals, and 12 book chapters (7 in Elsevier Inc., and Springer Cham). I have 6 national application patents granted with the title: "32076" (In technological exploitation by the company Newsystec S. A. de C. V.), 356127 (Nopal mucilage as a mucosal coating), and 356128 (use of mucilage as a moisturizer), 380086 (Systems nanostructured as thermal protectors of functional ingredients in food and food supplements), 383339 (Method for obtaining silicone nanoemulsions) and 383862 (Use of Lipid Systems for the protection of grains and seeds against microorganisms during storage). I have supervised 77 undergraduate theses, 6 masters’ in science, and 3 doctorates, being in the process 6 undergraduate, 3 doctorates, 2 postdoctoral (DGAPA). He has received support from different programs for his research and teaching activities as head, highlighting PAPIME PE206614; PAPIIT IT231511, IT200814, IT201617, IN 222520 (current); PIAPI1647, 1801, and 1804. As a participant in the Basic Science projects CB-221629 and Infrastructure INFRA-251940 and INFRA-302670. Winner of the PROFOPI award on 4 occasions in the edition, 2009, 2014, 2015, and 2017. She belongs to the National System of Researchers (Level II) (January 2021-Dec 2024), winner of the "State Science and Technology Award of the State of Mexico 2020" in the area of Engineering and Technology, "Comecarne" Award for innovation 2018 awarded by the Mexican Meat Association to a student of Food Engineering under my advice, a total of 12 works have been awarded in congresses in competitions at the international level. undergraduate and graduate.
