Bio
As the Conjoint Professor Emergency and Critical Care for Northern Sydney Local Health District and the University of Technology Sydney my role is to support clinician-researcher leadership, build researcher capacity, and strengthen a culture of clinical inquiry and research translation. In this role I actively develop, implement and evaluate health service interventions and models of care to improve patient safety and workforce development. My Conjoint Professorial role assists to build and facilitate networks and partnerships between the University of Technology Sydney, clinicians and more broadly health services to more effectively explore practice, implement innovative solutions for real world health issues, translate evidence into practice and promote leadership, learning and build clinician-researcher capacity and attributes.
