World-wide recognized experience in development of hydrophilic linear polymers. She has developed a number of new hydrophilic acrylic monomers and polymers to be used in capillary electrophoresis as DNA sieving matrices and as capillary coatings.
She is active in the area of protein and DNA microarray : development of innovative polymeric coatings for glass and silicon slides. Her activity is documented by over 200 publications and several patents. She has been a several times contractor of the EC and responsible for several national and international research contracts.
