个人简介
Since long time ago, I am fascinated by the DNA double helix, its extraordinary simplicity regarding the genetic information coding versus the complexity of its 3D structure and topology. I am also wondering about its extraordinary adaptability in all the living conditions including in extreme environments. So, I have focused my research work to decipher the role and the mechanism of magician enzymes that shape DNA, the DNA topoisomerases. I am more particularly concern by topoisomerases present in organisms that must facing up a great challenge regarding their genome stability, the hyperthermophilic archaea. These extraordinar organisms are a gold mine that gave us numbers new topoisomerases, allowing us to have a better understanding of the dynamics processes that work on DNA.
