I have developed surface modified silane nanoparticle of various shaped as an Advanced Materials involving various Nanotechnological techniques. The main strategies behind grafting, coating or encapsulation of various nanoparticles into polymers is an innovative process to obtain biocompatible hybrid and advance nanomaterials for various biomedical applications such as controlled drug delivery systems and in cellular tracking application.
My research interests are:
1.The modifications on the surface of advance nanomaterials is the one of the active area of my research interest to understand the reactive functional group present on cross linking.
2. The surface functionalization and modification of paramagnetic NPs to introduce additional functionality is another area requiring more attention.
3. Multifunctional nanocomposite systems with designed bioactive sites to carry various drugs will promise for a various biomedical applications have to be studied in detail.
4. Apart from the above i have high interest to study the Nanotoxicology of advanced material, Analytical methods involved in the development of NPs, Drug delivery/controlled release at nano scale, Interactions of biomolecules and cells at interfaces.
