Manmohan Prasad Gupta received the Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), New Delhi, India. He has been serving as a Professor of information systems with the Department of Management Studies (DMS), IIT Delhi, since 1997. He has been spending a significant amount of resources on developing cases, tools, and frameworks to promote e-governance. This has resulted in 32 doctoral theses, 22 sponsored projects, four coauthored/edited books, and more than 200 research articles. He has been closely following ‘‘Digital India’’ and ‘‘Smart City’’ programs of the Government of India (GoI), where his studies have suitably fed into these programs, in general, and ‘‘Cyber Security Policy of India’’ in particular. He is involved in several policy-making committees on ICT in the Center and State Governments in India. His research interest lies in exploring the policy dimension of ICT.
