Bio
Mai Banawan (Graduate Student Member, IEEE) received the B.S. (with Hons,) and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Alexandria University, Alexandria, Egypt, in 2013 and 2017, respectively. She is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree with the Centre for Optics Photonics and Lasers (COPL), Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Laval University, Quebec City, QC, Canada. Her research interests include the design and characterization of fibers supporting orbital angular momentum modes for space-division multiplexing.
