Bio
Mahmoud Al-Qutayri (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Eng. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Concordia University, Canada, in 1984, the M.Sc. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from The University of Manchester, U.K., in 1987, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Bath, U.K., in 1992. He is currently a Full Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Associate Dean for Graduate Studies with the College of Engineering, Khalifa University, United Arab Emirates. Prior to joining Khalifa University, he was with De Montfort University, U.K., and University of Bath. He has authored/coauthored numerous technical papers in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. He also coauthored a book titled Digital Phase Lock Loops: Architectures and Applications and edited a book titled Smart Home Systems. This is in addition to a number of book chapters and patents. His current research interests include wireless sensor networks, embedded systems design, in-memory computing, mixed-signal integrated circuits design and test, and hardware security.
