Presently working as a Director- Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeosciences in Lucknow. It is an Autonomous Institute of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Previous head of the Dept of Earth and Env. Science in KSKV Kachchh University. Working on Neotectonics, tectonic geomorphology of Kachchh basin. Currently working on Active Tectonics and paleoseismology of various faults in Kachchh. Also working on Paleoclimates of the Great Rann of Kachchh, western India.
