I currently serve as the Chair of the Agriculture Department at Texas State University. I am a full professor of agricultural economics, with 30 years of post-Ph.D. experience in teaching, research, outreach, and governance in a variety of agricultural/natural resources contexts. I held various research and managerial positions at three different international agricultural research institutes (IRRI, IFPRI and WorldFish) for more than 15 years.
