个人简介
Maad Alowaifeer (Member, IEEE) was born in Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia, on 19th November 1990. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, in 2013 and 2015, respectively, and the M.Sc. degree in 2020 in operations research from the Georgia Institute of Technology (GIT), Atlanta, GA, USA, where he is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering. In 2012, he was an Undergraduate Trainee with the Power Division, General Electric Company, New York City, NY, USA. He joined KFUPM as a Graduate Assistant teaching undergraduate electrical engineering laboratories. In 2015, he was promoted to be a Lecturer and was there until Fall 2016. His current research interests include home energy management systems, optimization of power system operations planning and control, and reliability assessment of power systems. He was the recipient of a scholarship to complete the Ph.D. studies from GIT.
