Bio
Meysar Zeinali (M'05) received the B.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering from Tehran University, Tehran, Iran, the M.Sc. degree in aerospace engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Queen's University, Kingston, ON, Canada.
He was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering Department of the University of Waterloo for three years. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering at Laurentian University, Sudbury, ON, Canada. He is also the Head of the Intelligent Robotics Laboratory of the School of Engineering. His research interests include robust and intelligent control system design, modeling and control of highly flexible wire-actuated (cable-driven) robot manipulators, systematic fuzzy logic-based modeling for nonlinear uncertain systems, fuzzy c-means clustering algorithm, pattern recognition, vision-based intelligent control system design for automated laser cladding process; and a force analysis and simulation in hydraulic systems and application to flight control system of aircraft.
