Bio
Ming-Yi Lin received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, and the Ph.D. degree in neuroscience from the University of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles, CA, USA.
She is currently a postdoctoral scholar in Dr. Robert Chow’s laboratory, USC. She has contributed to understanding the disease mechanism and developing treatment for a neurodegenerative disease and spinal muscular atrophy for her Ph.D. work. She is currently involved in developing a novel, next-generation retinal prosthesis, and functional and genetic mapping of the human brain.
Dr. Lin has received multiple awards in both research and teaching, including the CTSI Research Award for a multidisciplinary research project.
