个人简介
Michael is a researcher and professional learning course developer at the NSW Department of Education. His twenty-year experience in education includes working as a secondary school teacher and ICT leader, teaching and convening in preservice teacher education, designing and delivering teacher professional learning, and managing several high-profile state- and national-level research projects. He has substantial experience in developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with state, national, and international stakeholders from both government and industry. His research interests include understanding best practices in technology-enabled teacher professional learning, developing teacher autonomy and efficacy with ICT, and pedagogies for mobile learning and cloud computing. In addition to receiving Academic Honours — First Class in his undergraduate study, he was nominated for a NSW quality teaching award and has subsequently been the recipient of several research scholarships and fellowships, best paper awards, and honoraria as a visiting scholar.
