Bio
I bring over 30 years of experience in nuclear physics and IT applications to research and academia. My primary expertise lies in executing experiments at renowned institutions like the Mainz Microtron (MAMI) and the MIT-Bates Linear Accelerator Center, and in the simulation, calibration, analysis, and interpretation of electron scattering data.
I have proven technical competence in using various detectors, especially drift chambers. My hands-on experience with cryogenic hydrogen and high-pressure cryogenic helium targets has been instrumental in my roles with the MAMI/A1 collaboration.
I leverage my in-depth knowledge of software development, UNIX system and network management for cutting-edge research. As the sole creator of the MAMI/A1 data acquisition software and co-author of the Mainz/A1 data analysis program, I have established a robust base for further research work.
Apart from my technical expertise, I have a strong academic profile with 20 years of teaching experience in undergraduate and graduate levels, holding tutorials, seminars, lectures, and lab courses. I have also co-advised numerous bachelor, diploma, and Ph.D. students, helping shape the next generation of professionals in the field. My skills extend to giving lectures on statistics, data analysis, operating systems, and computer networks at the university master's level.
