The focus of the lab is to decipher the role of different immune cells in disease and pathology at a molecular level. We are especially interested to understand the role of basophils, monocytes and collagen producing hematopoietic cells in autoimmunity, transplant rejection and fibrosis. The ultimate goal of our research is to develop new therapeutic approaches for clinical application.
