Research Interests
Synthesis of ceramics, glasses, porous and composite materials, nanomaterials based on carbon, nanoparticles, hybrids (porous magnetic and catalytic), utilization of industrial wastes and biomass for the development of high -added value materials
Characterization-evaluation of materials by means of spectroscopic and analytical methods such as: vibrational spectroscopy and micro-spectroscopy (Raman, FT-IR), surface area, thermal analysis measurements and the determination and study of their physical and physicochemical properties. High important objectives of the research is the advanced spectroscopic characterization and the thoroughly understand of the materials’ structure and the ways that it related to their fundamental properties
