Manfra’s interests include growth, device fabrication, and transport properties in low-dimensional topological systems. His team at Purdue recently reported direct observation of anyonic braiding statistics by operating a novel electronic Fabry-Perot interferometer in the fractional quantum Hall regime. Manfra holds five patents, and he is a Fellow of the American Physical Society.
