个人简介
I am a research scientist in the Office of Science and Engineering Laboratories (OSEL), Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Agency. My research focuses on development of test methods and regulatory tools for evaluating Pulsed Electric Field (PEF) based devices, a rapidly emerging non-thermal tissue permeabilization modality. Applications include catheter ablation, cancer ablation, and drug delivery. We have developed a human high-throughput in vitro method to optimize PEF parameter selection for targeted non-thermal applications currently under in silico and in vivo validation. These efforts will support a standardized regulatory tool to inform and speed up device development and regulatory decision making.
