Bio
I am a (recently admitted) Lecturer in the School of Computer Science / College of Science at the University of Lincoln.
I completed my PhD in the School of Computer Science at the University of Nottingham in 2018. My research interests lie in artificial intelligence and data science for tackling real-world problems and decision-making in manufacturing, logistics, planning, and education.
Teaching has been one of my passions since an early age. My teaching experience ranges from being the leading Professor of several courses in an international university (Innopolis University, Russia) and a Teaching Assistant at the University of Nottingham to a volunteer teacher for underprivileged children in poor communities in Brazil. The courses I have taught include Database Systems, Business Analytics and Big Data Technologies and Analytics.
I also have extensive work experience in the industry as a software developer and data engineer for the Brazilian government and some international companies in data-intensive applications. I look for opportunities to use these experiences in class to better prepare my students and give them insights into some challenges they will face when they join the workforce. My motto is "your success is my success".
I enjoy playing football and Brazilian jiu-jitsu (both very poorly), board games, and watching history documentaries and discussions on geopolitics and international relations.
