Bio
Luis Gonzalez-Guerrero received the B.Sc. degree in materials
engineering from the Technical University of Madrid, Madrid, Spain, in 2013 and the M.Sc. degree in photonics and
optoelectronics devices from the University of St Andrews and Heriot-Watt University, U.K., in 2014. His master thesis
was about the design, analysis, and optimization of diffractive elements for distance ranging applications. He is
currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering at University College London in collaboration with
the National Physical Laboratory. His research interests include THz wireless communications, especially on the
characterization and application of photonic integrated chips in THz links and on the characterization of coherent and
non-coherent systems.
