自研究生阶段开始一直从事纳米材料透射电子显微学表征相关研究工作, 初步领略到透射电子显微镜在材料微结构表征中的强大威力。博士阶段在美国电镜圣地亚利桑那州立大学度过,并有幸在美国电镜学会主席David Smith 教授和电子全息领域专家Martha McCartney 教授引领下步入电子全息领域,在常规表征手段强度记录的基础上加入相位信息,实现对材料微结构和电磁学信息的全方位诠释,本人有机会在该领域进行了深入学习。在进入华中科技大学武汉光电国家研究中心以来,本人继续发挥自身在电子全息研究方面的特长,同时结合国家实验室新购置球差校正电镜等雄厚的实验条件,实现了纳米材料原子分辨率微结构及纳米尺度电学性能的结合研究,重点关注材料的特定原子结构及相应电势、电场、电荷分布对宏观物理性质的影响,取得了一系列有影响力的研究成果。到目前为止累积发表SCI 收录论文67篇,其中包括Advanced Materials 4 篇、Nano Letters 1 篇、Nature Communications 1 篇、Advance Science 2 篇、Small 1篇、Scientific Reports 7 篇、Applied Physics Letters5 篇等。研究工作被Nature Physics 杂志选为研究亮点,被该杂志编辑Bart Verberck 评价为结构-性能相关研究的典范。
