个人简介
Lorenzo Federici received the bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, the master’s degree in space and astronautical engineering, and the Ph.D. degree in aeronautical and space engineering from the Sapienza University of Rome, in 2016, 2018, and 2022, respectively. From March 2021 to August 2021, he was a Visiting Scholar with the Space Systems Engineering Laboratory, The University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ, USA, where he came back as a Postdoctoral Scholar, in November 2022. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the Department of Systems and Industrial Engineering, The University of Arizona. He is also involved in the management and development of the space domain awareness software infrastructure with the Space4 Center, The University of Arizona, for the identification, classification, and characterization of artificial objects in LEO, GEO, and cislunar regimes through both optical and radio-frequency observations. His research interests include evolutionary optimization algorithms, graph search methods, and deep learning techniques applied to robust space trajectory design and optimization and autonomous spacecraft guidance, navigation, and control.
