BIO
Liv has conducted research since 2014. She started with a pregraduate research year at the department of fetal medicine, Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen, Denmark. Initially Liv investigated how to best educatate novice learners in fetal ultrasound for fetal weight estimations. Curruently, Liv focuses on the learning potential from errors in medical educational contexts. She has completed different types of studies both within quantitative and qualitative methodologies to investigate how errors are viewed and perceived during different learning situations, and to highlight the possible learning potentials and barriers to learning in different educational situations. both within and outside clinical practice. She is interested in simulation-based training and the development of curricula herein, aswell as research addressing and investigating ‘transfer of skills’ to clinical performances.
Liv aims to start specialization training within Obstetrics & Gynaecology after she has finished her PhD, and hopes to continue in the field of fetal medicine after her speciality training.
