Dr. Zhenzhen Liu received her Ph.D. and M.D. degrees in Ophthalmology from Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, Sun Yat-sen University. She studied for two years in the Laboratory of Nutrition and Vision Science, Tufts University, Boston, the U.S.
As regards the scientific activity, she has published more than 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals. With her research on artificial intelligence in ophthalmology, lens protein quality control system and lens regeneration, she received funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
The main areas of research include congenital cataract, artificial intelligence in ophthalmology, lens protein quality control system and lens regeneration.
