Career Trajectory
Bio
Bo Liu received his PhD degree in Economics in 2016. He is now an Associate Professor in a university. His research interests include informal economy, informal sector, shadow economy, inequality, input-output and social accounting matrix analysis.
Bo has published nearly 20 articles in Journals, such as Statistical Research, Economist, Chinese Journal of Population Science, Population & Economics. All of them are CSSCI indexed journals. Bo's research work has been well cited in China.
Bo heads more than 5 projects focusing on informal economy, such as ‘statistical research on the macro effects of informal economy based on social accounting matrix’, ‘the effects and paths of informal economy on resident income based on SAMs’, ‘construction of informal economy social accounting matrix and its application for analysis of income distribution'.
Bo has been awarded sevaral prizes. One of them is the 19th Philosophy and Social Sciences Excellent Achievement in Zhejiang Province, which is the best awards in social science of a province. His doctoral dissertation titled as 'compilation and application of informal economy social accounting matrix for China' won the excellent dissertation in the University.
